Project: Build a brand new YMCA. With no existing YMCA, no members and no previous donors, an all-volunteer group persevered during an economic recession to raise $10 million in a community of just 7,200 people.
Services: Plan and direct a $10 million community-wide campaign.
YWCA Madison - Eileen Mershart, CEO and Elizabeth Barnhill, Campaign Co-Chair Volunteer
Project: Complete renovation of the YWCA's headquarters and 12-story residence for women and their children on the Capitol Square, as well as renovation of a former warehouse as the new Empowerment Center. The campaign launched in the worst months of the economic downturn yet reached its goal late in 2010 – on schedule even in such challenging times.
Services: Test (feasibility study), plan and direct a $1.8 million community-wide campaign.
Aldo Leopold Foundation – Buddy Huffaker, Executive Director
Project: Preserve key assets of Aldo Leopold’s legacy through the development of a new Center for the Foundation’s educational and outreach programming. In keeping with its mission to advance stewardship and land conservation and restoration, the new Center is a net-zero building, meeting all of its own energy needs.
Services: Test (feasibility study), plan and direct a national campaign that ultimately raised $8.1 million and transformed the organization, now operating at a new scale and level of growth.
Reedsburg Area Medical Center – Dale Turner, VP Human Resources & Development
Project: Build a state-of-the-art skilled nursing facility and a separate assisted living facility in a rural community without easy access to such a continuum of senior health care service.
Services: Test (feasibility study), plan and direct a $2 million community wide campaign. |
